There are pages that provide a healthy dose of proven information that will help you reach your goals, as well as giving you the daily dose of inspiration. Facebook is a place where any information you ask for is at your fingertips. With a quick search, you get thousands of results for a search that you entered. With this HUGE amount of information, individuals and groups representing so many contradicting views, it’s hard to find pages providing quality information.
Luckily, there are pages that provide a healthy dose of proven information that will help you reach your goals, as well as giving you the daily dose of inspiration.
So here are our favourite Facebook pages at this point in time.
CROSSFIT
CrossFit is still up there as one of my favourite pages for motivational videos, pictures and a variety of information. They even post videos showing you how to do movements to add to your fitness program, and highlight the achievements of everyday people just like you and me. Scrolling through Facebook to find a video recipe for slow-cooked ribs with sweet potato, is enough to keep me coming back 7 years later.
GMB FITNESS
GMB is actually something I only just found (I can be a bit slow), but the amount of helpful tips and exercise information is awesome. Bodyweight training is some of the most effective fitness training you can do, and with the focus on getting strong through basic to advanced movements there is something for everyone.
MIKE VACANTI
Your fitness is a priority to you, and something you invest a lot of time and probably a lot of money into with gym memberships, supplements, food and clothing. Mike Vacanti has a page that delivers absolute no BS stuff straight to your News Feed. Not only that, but he is the trainer to one of my biggest inspirations, Gary Vaynerchuk.
THE CREDIBLE HULK
Facebook can be a downward spiral into the pseudosceince abyss if you aren’t careful. The Credible Hulk is an unbiased skeptic, who promotes science and critical thinking when it comes to nutrition and HULK SMASHING the myths out there. The page, isn’t the prettiest but there is plenty of awesome content to chew on.
MOBILITY WOD
After 5 years, this is still one of my favourite Facebook pages! Mobility WOD is a page dedicated to helping everyday people stick it to their bodies, and unglue the nastiness that holds us back from being at our full potential. Kelly Starrett delivers videos, articles, lectures and tips that will get your body moving how it should.
CROSSFIT BORDER
Of course we’re biased, but our Facebook page shows you the people we train! We only use pictures of our members, and show you the stuff that happens within our walls (and heads). Make sure you head over and like it.
